AN OFFICIAL DECREE OF HIS GRACE ARCHBISHOP MARK
We hereby assign the Rev Fr Peter Baulk to administer to the needs of
English-speaking parishioners in the Greater London area, particularly
to those parishioners who have been left without pastoral care since the
departure of Archimandrite Alexis from our Church. Fr Alexis and his brotherhood
are under canonical sanctions until they repent of their disregard for
the Church's canons and good order.
Fr Peter will concelebrate with the clergy at the Cathedral in Harvard Road until Pascha of this year. After Pascha we will discuss the need to establish an English-language parish in the lower church, since by then the Russian parish will be using the upper church.
We admonish all the faithful who have hitherto attended services at St Edward's Brotherhood in Brookwood to abstain immediately from attending further services there, on account of the above-mentioned canonical irregularity. We must remind you that any priestly functions performed by Fr Alexis or Fr Stephen during their suspension (God forbid) are to be considered null and void and will serve for the condemnation rather than salvation of those who partake thereof.
